Grow Goji

In your own Backyard

Welcome to Goji Plants Australia

Last updated May 2009

They are long branched and slightly 'willowy' shrubs and are wonderful to have around the perimeter of the backyard.

They do require trimming a few times a year, but apart from that they are quite low maintenance.

We experience a very hot summer and an occasional frost in winter, which does not deter them at all.

Plant in summer and unless the climate is unfair you will have some berries in the next.

The Australian climate seems perfectly suited to these plants, which may or may not have come from the Tibetan plateau, but have certainly flourished in the Ningxia, Qinghai, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Sichuan, and Xinjiang Provinces in China from where 90% of the export market is sourced.

We are growers of the plants and not linked to any importers or suppliers of Goji berries or Goji juice. Our aim is to supply those who wish to grow your own with plants or seed to enable this to happen. Our seeds are harvested at maturity and our plants are grown or struck by us from our own mature plants.

The plants are grown under some shade to retard their growth slightly, keeping them small enough to send in the post at a smaller cost and often a faster recovery rate after transit.

The seed is always fresh and as we are constantly planting new seed every week to supply the demand for potted plants, we are very confident of the viability of our seed.
